Just a quick post with some pictures of my favorite moments caught on camera.  Sometimes I'll be busy doing something and turn around and find Kendall and Logan playing or reading and I sneak a little picture in cause it's so fun to watch!

Last days of summer

On Monday after work Logan and I decided to go out and give Dakota a little attention, on what could possibly be one of the last nice days of the year (ironically also the last day of summer).  Poor Dakota had been cooped up in the house all day while we were at work and was so excited to see us, especially to see us outside, that she was jumping around which Logan thought was hilarious!  I was a little too slow with my phone to catch the best part of the laughing but I was able to catch some of Logan and Dakota playing :)

We've had some great weather up until yesterday and have tried to take advantage of it on the weekends!  A few weekends ago we took Logan to the Woodland Park Zoo.  Most of the animals were out so he got to see some bears, wolves and Elephants!  It was a nice family day and we're pretty sure he had a good time! :)

Recently Logan has found he really enjoys Dakota's pillows and constantly rolls and bounces on them.  This possibly annoys and disgusts Dakota, but she's pretty good at dealing with him.  On Saturday night Logan tried to share the pillow with Dakota, which was pretty cute :) 

Logan's First Birthday Party!

Logan's first birthday party was the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.  I guess I forgot that this weekend is notorious for rain and of course it rained on Saturday...none of the other days,  just Saturday.  Regardless, it seemed like everyone had a good time and Logan stayed awake and present for most of the party :)  Other than everyone being crammed into our smallish living room/dining room/kitchen space I think it all turned out! 

I went with Red Wagon as the theme and maybe went a little crazy, but I really enjoyed making all the decorations :)  Tina was amazing and made all of the delicious desserts for the party including a smash cake for Logan (which was beautiful)!

We all had a great time and appreciate everyone coming and missed all of our out of town people!

Happy Birthday little man!

One Year

On August 25th 2014 Logan turned One!  

I really can't believe it's already been a year since he was born!  I feel like there is no way that much time as gone by and at the same time I also can't believe how much he's changed!  

At One year Logan:

~is walking on his own

~eats almost everything we eat for every meal

~prefers blueberries and avocado

~is wearing size 3 diapers (almost out)

~wears mostly 18 month clothes now except pants which are still 12 months (although too short sometimes)

~loves to play tug with Casey and Dakota when she lets him

~plays with tupperware, baskets, bottles over toys most the time

~points to the sky when an airplane goes by (inside or out)

~loves his truck book!

~likes to go to the beach with his grandparents to look at all the trucks and trains

~has multiple trucks he can sit on, can't really push yet, but likes the buttons

~would sleep from 7:30ish to 7 every day if he could

~takes 2 good naps a day (except today as I type this...)

~talks to himself, his toys, flowers, grandma baker's iPad... 

~rolls his "r's"

~has all 8 fron teeth now (4 top, 4 bottom) and is getting one of his back teeth in

~still amazes me every day with how happy he is and all that he's learning! :)
