Last Couple Weeks

I know it's been a bit since I've posted anything :( Unfortunately Tory Burch, Kate Spade and MMJ have been occupying much of my time lately.  Next spring please be sure to wander through Nordstrom handbags and enjoy the Tory assortment ;).  

But, in Logan news...These last couple weeks Logan has pretty much mastered walking!  He likes to just walk around the house carrying his wooden puzzle pieces.  If he's missing for a moment it usually means he's made it to our bathroom and is getting the face wash and lotion out to carry around.  

Here he is just a couple weeks ago just starting out...

Here are a few other things he's been up to... 

He helps Casey out at my parents house by holding her bone for her while she chews it

While I was working on something in the kitchen I turned around and saw him standing there "reading" his book.  Same page...but, he did stand there looking at it for quite awhile.

He's had pool time to cool off during all of our 80+ degree days

He and Dakota enjoy looking out the front window together. 

He watched Dada and Papa work on the patio with the compactor

He started snuggling with the big elephant pillow from Tina :)

Logan apparently really loves the scene in Aladdin when they sing "A Whole New World", he sat silently and watched the whole thing.  Kendall says it's cause he likes Jasmine... haha

looks like they were both enjoying it... :)

All of this makes for one tired little boy! 

11 Months

Last Friday Logan turned 11 months!!  It seems so crazy that he's such a little boy now and almost a year old!  The time has flown by!

At 11 Months:

~he is wearing 12 month clothes, soon to be in 18 months

~wears a size 3 diaper

~has 7 teeth with the 8th one coming in (4 on top and 3 on bottom)

~stands on his own and cruises around furniture with ease

~took 2-3 steps on his own

~gets to play in his pool on hot days

~sleeps entirely through the night and would love it if I didn't wake him up every weekday!

~takes 2 good naps during the day

~eats pretty much anything, almost entirely on real food now

~babbles constantly 

~pretty sure he says "gog" for dog

~imitates sounds like tea kettles, sirens

~still says dada, sorta says mama... but not sure he's saying them to us

~says the right amount of syllables for Da-ko-ta, but not those exact letters (figures he'd say the dogs name before mama)

~loves playing with the dogs, plays tug with casey and tries to catch dakota

~his little demon (growly) voice still appears sometimes (not sure where he picked it up)

~smiles a lot

~laughs at silly things... or anything

~recognizes Thomas the Train song and other PBS theme songs (yes he watches tv sometimes)

~loves snuggling with his blanket

~claps his hands and sorta waves

~bounces like crazy in his bed, on the floor, anywhere

~loves to play outside (we are working on getting the yard in better shape for him!)

~is just a very busy, happy boy :)

(I know this post is really late!  Time keeps slipping away from me somehow!)
