First day of work...

Yesterday was my first day back at work and Logan got to spend his first day at Grammy/Grandpa daycare :)  He also got to spend some more quality time with Tom and Kevin!

Wonders where he is at such an early hour!

He definitely had a good day and didn't seem to mind not being home with me all day.  We made it through the first day of figuring out schedules and what not!  Hopefully next week is smooth!

4 Months

On Christmas day Logan turned 4 months old!  Time has definitely flown by extremely fast!

At 4 Months:

13 pounds 10 ounces

25 1/2 inches

had his first cold :(

found his feet and loves to play with them

chatters with people and his mobile

sucks on his fingers/hands and almost can comfort himself with them

reaches for toys and gets them in his mouth

loves his various "blankies"

went on his first trip

laughed out loud 

still hates tummy time

can sit up with support

is still in 6 month clothes but quickly growing out of them

LOL…

And tomorrow…back to work for me :(  thankfully we have great parents that are willing to take on the job of watching this little guy!

Uncle Tom and Christmas

On monday Tom came home from Germany for Christmas and got to meet Logan for the first time! :)   For those of you who know Tom he's not what you would call a "baby person", but he and Logan seem to be getting along just fine!

He came over for dinner that night before all of the holiday craziness and got to have some quality time together :)

This year we did Christmas Eve at the Klein's house, Christmas morning at our house and Christmas night at my parents.  Sound tiring?…. yes it was, but it was also great to see all our friends and family and share Logan's first Christmas with them.

Santa brought Logan a new toy!  He already seems to really like it and will be able to grow into it.

Santa

Yesterday we took Logan to see Santa at the mall.  We weren't able to get a smile out of him, but he didn't cry either :)

Auntie Tina and Tanya also came by to give Logan some Christmas gifts.  He is definitely a well loved little boy :)

Tanya got him his own little Santa suit to wear also!

SNOW!

This morning we woke up to snow!  A few days too early for a white Christmas but we will take what we can get around here!  It really wasn't much, just a few inches…enough to turn all local news stations to constant coverage of the first snowfall.  We get a little overly excited about snow around here :)  For those of us who have experienced snow in Colorado (or anywhere on the East Coast I'm sure) this is nothing, but still fun since it doesn't happen often!

Leavenworth

Last weekend we went on a little trip to Leavenworth with Tina and Ryan (and his brother and sister-in-law).  It was so much fun with snow and Christmas lights and of course our friends :)  Logan got a lot of time with Auntie Tina!

He did so great for his first long trip in the car!  He slept the whole way and woke up right when we got there, just in time to eat :)

We got to stay in a house with plenty of room and went out for a really good dinner on friday night.  Logan just looked around at all the lights and people and eventually took a little nap.  We did a little walking around that night but it was pretty cold.

It was in the teens the whole weekend but there was snow on the ground which made the weekend that much better!!  As long as everyone was bundled up we were good!

The lighting event was on Saturday night.  During the day we did a little wine tasting and had some lunch and I was duped into taking old time pictures… but it was a great time!

We learned that (so far) Logan is a good traveler!  He went along with the flow and either checked things out or slept in the carrier and he even slept through both nights even sleeping in the same room as us!
