The past week

This past week we've had some really nice weather so Logan has had a chance to do a lot of out door activities!

Last weekend was Valentine's day and Logan got to be my valentine :)  Kendall went down to Toas for some much needed guy time with Hunter and John, so Logan and I got to hang out together (with Dakota and Casey)

Tina brought some flowers and a balloon by for us! :)

Logan played outside for awhile with the dogs

Then we had some pizza and watched a little Jungle Book!

Kendall got home on Sunday night and we had some great weather still on Monday so we spent the morning at the beach with Tina

Kevin and my dad were both off for winter break this week so they went to the zoo on Tuesday

Logan even got to "drive" Kevin's truck for a bit :)

This week Kendall took some days off, wrapping up the end of his sales career and preparing for his new adventure with the Kirkland P.D.!  Logan got to spend some extra time with Dad while he was home! :) 

Yesterday Kendall took Logan to reading time at the library.  My mom normally takes him and I've never been able to go, but apparently the librarian thanked Kendall for his enthusiasm while singing the songs.  (to be a fly on that wall... :))

Dad and Logan seemed to have a pretty good few days!  Plus it was nice to come home to a cleaned up house with lunches made!

This weekend Kendall is off to Taos for a boy's weekend with John and Hunter... I can only imagine the fun they will all have together ;)

Little helper

Recently Logan has been very big into helping...even last night he noticed dog footprints on the floor of our friends house and was quite upset by it, so we gave him a paper towel and he cleaned it up :)

He likes to pull the chair up to the counter while I make dinner and lunches at night

Yesterday he found an old egg carton and put all his play food in it and then started lining them up on the freezer handle.  Here he is afterward talking into his monitor or "phone"

Last night we went over to Celeste and Rob's house to see their new little baby.  We packed up Logan's backpack for him and he was ready to go!

Today he helped us out in the yard moving some rocks and doing a little bulldozing 

He helped Kendall in the garage for a little bit too

then he took a break and got a ride in his trike

17 Months

A couple weeks ago Logan turned 17 months!  I think we finally have to admit he's more toddler than baby now even though we can't believe it!

At 17 moths Logan

~says mama, dada, nana (banana) and makes animal and car noises (we are working on more words now:)

~weighs about 23 pounds

~wears a mixture of 18-24 month tops and 12 month pants

~wears size 6.5 shoe

~loves playing with his animal and cars and trucks

~LOVES to jump...he will jump down the hall, around the kitchen, anywhere

~loves to play outside, can wait for the weather to get better!

~goes to library class with grandma every week 

~really likes to drink water, preferably out of our camelback bottles

~will throw the ball for you, but doesn't quite wait for you to throw it back

~hides between my legs and waits for Dakota to run up and find him

~sticks his face in the water during bath time for a second then pops up and laughs

~dances when he hears music, especially whatever dada is listening to

~takes one good nap a day, sometimes two if it's an early morning

~likes to stack things and put things in cups and bowls

~is just a goofy kid sometimes

~almost says E-I-E-I-O from the Old MacDonald song

~will point at the letter M on his wall and say mama ;)

~still eats most anything-although he definitely lets his opinion known if he doesn't like something, whether just for that day or ever

~cheers loudly when he sees the Seahawks on TV

~got his first hair cut

~loves his puppy
